YAKIMA -- Hailey Marlow hit a deep 3-pointer at the buzzer to give West Valley (Spokane) a 43-40 win over Tumwater in the WIAA Class 2A girls basketball state tournament semifinals on Friday.

It was Marlow's only 3-pointer of the game and it gave the Eagles a berth in the 2A state championship game. They will play top-seeded Lynden for the title on Saturday at 5 p.m.
