Photos: No. 2 Curtis races past No. 8 Gonzaga Prep in Class 4A quarterfinals

TACOMA, Wash. — Sophomore Zoom Diallo scored 24 points to help No. 2 Curtis jump out to an early lead and hold off No. 8 Gonzaga Prep 67-55 on Thursday night in the Tacoma Dome.
The Class 4A state quarterfinal win propels Curtis (25-3) into a 9 p.m. semifinal date with Union on Friday. The third-seeded Titans earned their semifinal spot with a 57-41 win over Kamiakin.
“It was exciting,” Diallo said. “Very exciting. Now that I’m finally here, playing against this competition and for these fans, it’s fun.”
