SPOKANE - It was a Seymour family celebration in Cusick's run to its first WIAA state basketball championship.

Brothers Bode and Colton Seymour combined for 34 of the team's 61 points, and the Panthers avenged their only loss by crunching Almira/Coulee-Hartline, 61-48, in the Class 1B finals at the Spokane Arena.

Their father, Rob, is the boys coach.

Cusick, which lost to ACH in the district title game, never trailed Saturday night - and pulled away after the Warriors cut the lead to 31-28 in the third quarter.

That is as close as ACH would get after Cusick answered on a 6-0 run - and eventually the Panthers would extend their lead to double digits in the fourth quarter.

Reece Isaak led ACH with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
