YAKIMA - Just like they did all season, the Ellensburg Bulldogs locked up one final opponent to win the Class 2A state championship on Saturday night.

They beat Burlington Edison, 52-32, in the SunDome.

As the Tigers struggled to find points - they went nearly nine minutes in the first half without scoring - Ellensburg put together its knockout 18-0 run to seize control.

Jamison Philip led the Bulldogs with 13 points. Olivia Anderson and Dylan Philip, the tournament MVP, added seven points apiece.
