Spartans beat North Creek, 19-15, on Saturday to stay atop the league standings

BOTHELL, Wash. - At the outset of the 4A KingCo Conference season, nobody was talking about Skyline as a legitimate contender.

But the Spartans just won't go away.

Nathan Fischer's end-around touchdown run early in the fourth quarter proved to be the game-winner, and Skyline edged North Creek, 19-15, on Saturday afternoon at Pop Keeney Stadium.
