SPOKANE, Wash. - After a two-year absence, "Spirit Week" is underway at the Spokane arena.

The main attractions: Rivalry basketball games.

It started with Cheney vs. Rogers of Spokane on Monday.

Then it was Ferris vs. Lewis and Clark on Tuesday in the "Rubber Chicken" game.

On Wednesday, Shadle Park took on North Central in the "Groovy Shoes" contest.

And the week finishes up with the "Stinky Sneaker (University/Central Valley) and "Golden Throne" (East Valley/West Valley).
