Kangaroos easily brush aside Stanwood, 70-52, in Class 3A regional game in Kirkland

KIRKLAND, Wash. - When Lake Washington gets firing from the 3-point line - and hitting - it usually spells disaster for whoever is trying to keep up.

The Kangaroos made 14 of them in their own gymnasium Saturday, and it led to a convincing 70-52 victory over Stanwood in a Class 3A girls basketball regional game in Kirkland.

Sydney Hani sank four 3-pointer in the third quarter alone, tallying a team-high 16 points.
