Look: In latest state-football rivalry chapter, Lake Stevens handles Graham-Kapowsin in Class 4A title game

Vikings' 31-6 victory at Husky Stadium marks third win over Eagles in past four WIAA playoff meetings

SEATTLE - On a repeat mission, the Lake Stevens Vikings left no doubt they were the best team in Class 4A football this fall.

Paced by Kolton Matson's 231 passing yards and four touchdowns, the Vikings crunched Graham-Kapowsin, 31-6, to defend their WIAA title Saturday night at Husky Stadium.

Lake Stevens became just the sixth school to win back-to-back Class 4A titles - and first since Skyline in 2012.
