Dodgers at Angels: How to Watch, Predictions, and More

The Freeway Series begins at 12:10 p.m. PT but in Cactus League style.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will play for the third straight day but finally against a different opponent. The Boys in Blue head to Tempe for a game against the Los Angeles Angels at Tempe Diablo Stadium.

Unfortunately, former Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani won't be making an appearance, but Southern California native Tyler Glasnow will be.

Glasnow will take the mound with a handful of starters behind him. However, the most intriguing name in Saturday's lineup is Kevin Padlo, who is off to a red-hot Cactus League start.

Padlo, another Southern California native, appeared in three games for the Angels last season.

So far this spring, he has played in two games and is 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs, two runs scored and a walk.

How to Watch

The game will be broadcast on SportsNet LA, with the first pitch slated for 12:10 p.m. PST. The radio broadcasts will be on 570 AM and KTNQ 1020.

Predictions

This should be a good game for the Angels' Cactus League opener. Manager Ron Washington has loaded up his roster with projected starters, including Mike Trout.

The Angels will keep it close, but the Dodgers should win this one 6-3.

More

Gavin Lux is starting as designated hitter again on Saturday but is expected to make his first start at shortstop on Sunday since suffering a devastating knee injury last spring.
