LeBron James' Youngest Son Bryce to Visit Ohio State for First College Visit

Bryce James is taking his first reported collegiate visit to Ohio State this weekend.

Bryce James — Lakers superstar LeBron James' youngest son — will be taking an unofficial visit to Ohio State this weekend, marking the first reported college visit of his basketball career.

Bronny, LeBron’s oldest, took an official visit to see the Buckeyes during his recruitment, but eventually landed with USC. After suffering cardiac arrest just a few months ago, Bronny is now set to play the upcoming season for the Trojans.

Per a family spokeswoman, the likely cause of Bronny’s cardiac arrest was a congenital heart defect, which was identified after an initial evaluation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was taken.

“Bronny’s doing extremely well,” LeBron said recently. "He’s begun his rehab process to get back on the floor this season with his teammates and USC — the successful surgery that he had. But he’s on the up and up.”

Bryce, a current high school junior, is a 6-foot-4 shooting guard who can get to the rim with physicality, but isn’t shy in shooting from range either. This summer, he transferred from Sierra Canyon to Notre Dame.

He has a long frame, and should see plenty of improvement in his overall game prior to him joining his next team.

Bryce's only current offers per 247sports are USC and Duquesne. Though plenty of schools are likely to want in on the legacy’s talents.
