Projections for 2023-24 NBA All-Rookie Teams

After an eventful 82 games, the 2023-24 NBA regular season comes to a close today. Amongst this year’s many storylines, the stellar rookie performances will be remembered.
With that in mind, which ten rookies could we see land on the NBA All-Rookie Teams?
First Team:
Victor Wembanyama, San Antonio Spurs

The runaway Rookie Of The Year, conversations surrounding Wembanyama regard his potential as an all-time great. Nobody questions the 7-foot-4 big’s rightful spot on the first team.
Chet Holmgren, Oklahoma City Thunder

One of the leading stars of a top-seeded OKC squad, Holmgren earns an undisputed spot on the first team. He had an unforgettable rookie season in his own right as All-Defense and All-Star selections loom in his future.
Brandon Miller, Charlotte Hornets

Over the course of the season, Miller made huge strides to become an, on average, 20-point scorer every night. He oozes of superstar potential, and obtains the third and final undisputed spot on the first team.
Dereck Lively II, Dallas Mavericks

Dallas found Luka Donic’s long-term center in Lively II. Standing north of 7 feet tall, the former Duke Blue Devil excels in protecting the rim and finishing plays. Making a big impact on the Mavs’ playoff birth, Lively II should earn a spot on the first team.
Amen Thompson, Houston Rockets

While his twin, Ausar, got off to a better start for the Detroit Pistons, Amen didn’t take much longer to showcase his impact. He’s been thieving as a do-it-all wing for Houston.
Second Team:
Keyonte George, Utah Jazz

After implementing some off-season improvements, George came into his rookie season a much better player than he was at Baylor. With intriguing flashes of a star point guard, George earns All-Rookie status.
Brandon Podziemski, Golden State Warriors

Already one of the NBA’s more unique players, Podziemski provided crucial, well-rounded impact throughout the Dubs’ season. A shrewd player, he brings a nice fit and under-discussed value to Golden State’s system.
G.G. Jackson, Memphis Grizzlies

Emerging later into the season, Jackson played like a first-team player throughout much of the season. The youngest player in the NBA, the 6-foot-9 rookie boasts two-way star potential for the Grizzlies.
Scoot Henderson, Portland Trail Blazers

The third overall pick battled injuries and rookie bumps early on. But later in the season, he did a better job utilizing his skillset to showcase the potential that made him such a touted prospect.
Jaimie Jaquez Jr., Miami Heat

Jaquez experienced some bumps later in his season, but he was truly one of the best in the class early on. He did enough to warrant an All-Rookie selection.
