Report: Philadelphia 76ers Will Not Trade For Kyrie Irving

The 76ers reportedly have no interest in Kyrie Irving.

Kyrie Irving broke the NBA world today when he suddenly requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets have been successfully treading water since Kevin Durant's injury, but Irving was reportedly incredibly unhappy with the team's contract extension offer. Now, all eyes are on who will trade for Irving.

According to a report from Jason Dumas of the KRON4 News, the Philadelphia 76ers will not make any Kyrie Irving inquiries and have no interest in trading for him.

To be honest, Irving requesting a trade in this manner with only six days left into the trade deadline ruins most of his leverage. The entire situation will be messy, and the Brooklyn Nets will probably also have to accept an offer that's worth less than what Kyrie Irving is actually worth.

While there are no reports yet, the teams that fans should most likely be expecting offers for Irving are the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat. Both of those teams have expressed interest in Irving in the past, and both of those teams want to upgrade their point guard position. The Clippers also want to upgrade their point guard position, but there's uncertainty on just how much they're willing to blow up their team for Kyrie Irving.

Buckle up, Brooklyn Nets fans. These next few days are going to be an absolute rollercoaster.
