Betting Experts Pick Player Props in Suns-Celtics

The Phoenix Suns begin a five-game road trip with a Friday night clash against the Boston Celtics. Here's a few player props to consider from betting experts across the web.

The Phoenix Suns hope to rebound in a major way from their Wednesday loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, though Friday's meeting with the Boston Celtics (No. 1 in the East) won't provide an easier challenge.

If you're looking to make some dough on the game, check out these prop bets from experts across the web:

  • Mikal Bridges has hit the Assists Over in 17 of his last 22 games (+11.90 Units / 46% ROI)
  • Torrey Craig has hit the Points Under in 18 of his last 26 games (+7.65 Units / 23% ROI)
  • Deandre Ayton has hit the Blocks Under in his last 7 away games (+7.15 Units / 89% ROI)
  • Torrey Craig has hit the Rebounds Over in 12 of his last 18 away games (+7.05 Units / 36% ROI)
  • Torrey Craig has hit the Assists Under in 13 of his last 18 games (+6.25 Units / 23% ROI)

Covers.com: Jaylen Brown Over 25.5 Points

Robert Criscola: "While Tatum could simply will his way to another 30-point night (he’s averaging 32.8 ppg at home), it’s unlikely that head coach Joe Mazzulla will allow him to do that and potentially torpedo the Celtics’ chance to win on Friday night. Mazzulla is the frontrunner for Coach of the Year odds for a reason, and a smart tactician would center the Celtics’ offense around Brown in this one.

"Phoenix is far less efficient at shutting down shooting guards, as they allow 24.8 ppg to the position – fourth-worst in the NBA. Brown is averaging just over 28 ppg at home this year, and has reached or surpassed 26 points in four of his last five overall, and 12 of his last 16 contests.

"My best bet: Jaylen Brown Over 25.5 points (-112)"

Action Network: Take Celtics -2.5 Third Quarter

Andrew O'Connor-Watts: "The Celtics have no business laying close to double digits against any team above .500 right now, and yet they easily cleared a similar number against the Nets on Wednesday, scoring 139 points.

"I do like the Celtics to come out strong after halftime, though.

"I wouldn’t take this number past -2.5, but I’d take -3 or -3.5 for half a unit as I see some blowout potential after halftime.

"If the third-quarter line gets priced out, I might look to the under. Both teams are playing at the bottom of the league in pace over the past five games, and four of their last five meetings have gone under the total. However, the total has already taken some sharp under money, and I’d need a higher number. If the total gets steamed up, I’ll play the under at 226.5 or better."
