Rams Star Aaron Donald Enjoyed Eagles' Demolition of 49ers

Not many enjoyed watching the San Francisco 49ers lose to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday than Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

The Los Angeles Rams were forced to watch the NFC Championship game from home after their disastrous Super Bowl hangover 5-12 seasons. The result of the championship game was a welcomed sight for Philadelphia Eagles and Rams fans alike as the San Francisco 49ers lost 31-7.

While the Eagles' faithful were among the happiest, star Rams' defensive tackle Aaron Donald might've come in second place. Donald took to Twitter to express his excitement at watching the rival Niners decimated.

Donald didn't need words to express his emotions; he used a GIF from his post-game interview after winning the Super Bowl a season ago.

"I'm just so happy," Donald said last February might be the perfect description for how he felt as the Niners were outplayed in the second half by the Eagles.

Donald's joy in the Niners' loss shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who heard the star pass-rusher make his feelings for the Niners clear back in July.

“I dislike the Niners. I don’t like the Niners at all, they don’t like us,” Donald said. “It’s just the rivals. Every time we play it’s a dog fight. That’s how it is. No love at all towards them guys. I really dislike them and we’ll see them twice this year.”

Now with San Francisco joining the Rams on the couch for the Super Bowl, Donald can redirect his dislike for the Niners toward training for next season.
