The starting eleven for the Cats was as follows: Roefs; Hume, Mukiele, Alderete, Masuaku; Xhaka, Sadiki, Rigg; Talbi, Le Fee; Isidor.
For his part, Ange Postecoglou could not count on Douglas Luiz due to injury, and lined up the following starting eleven: Sels; Williams, Milenkovic, Morato, Zinchenko; Dominguez, Anderson; Bakwa, McAtee, Ndoye; Wood.
Sunderland's next match will be against Manchester United at Old Trafford next Saturday, October 4th, on the occasion of MD7 of the Premier League.
