Countdown to Crimson Tide's 2024 Season Opener:

234 days.

Today's Crimson Tide Schedule:

  • No games scheduled.

Crimson Tide Results:

  • Men's basketball: defeated South Carolina, 74-47, in home SEC opener. Guard Mark Sears scored 31 points.

Did You Notice?

  • Sophomore Alabama gymnast Gabby Gladieux was named SEC Specialist of the Week after a strong performance this past weekend, which saw her score a 9.975 on floor. That score helped fourth-ranked Alabama to a win over Auburn, UCLA and Cal in the Mean Girls Super 16 in Las Vegas.
  • Shortly after winning WWE NXT's Breakout Tournament, Oba Femi (otherwise known as former Alabama track and field athlete Isaac Odugbesan) cashed in his opportunity and dethroned Dragon Lee to become the new NXT North American Champion. Odugbesan won two SEC shot put titles in a row from 2021-22.

On This Day in Crimson Tide History:

January 10, 1987: Athletic Director Steve Sloan announced that the tower used by Paul W. “Bear” Bryant would be reinstalled on the practice field, citing the monument "as a symbol of Alabama football."

January 10, 1994: Landon Collins was born in New Orleans.

Crimson Tide Quote of the Day:

“The alumni are starting to grumble, and I’m the one starting it.”– Paul W. “Bear” Bryant

We'll Leave You with This:

Having DeMeco Ryans around has drastically changed the Houston Texans' fortunes, and that can be said whether the former Alabama standout is dressing out and playing or patrolling the sidelines as head coach.
