The hump day edition of "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral" was spent with class of 2024, 4-star receiver Amari Jefferson.

Jefferson joined the program to talk about his high school career, his love of baseball and what he experienced on his official visit to the University of Alabama last weekend.

The 6-foot-1 receiver is currently committed to Tennessee's baseball program but has been exploring his football options at several high level universities.

Jefferson talked about his desire to play both football and baseball at the next level and revealed that having an opportunity to play both will weigh heavily on his decision making process.

The Chattanooga native discussed winning a Tennessee state championship in both baseball and football, and his desire to lead the Baylor Red Raiders back to another championship in his senior year.

The rising senior told the audience which receivers he likes to model his game after and what college coaches have told him he needs to work on in his final year of high school.

Jefferson detailed his experience in Tuscaloosa this past weekend as he joined the University of Alabama on an official visit. It's clear the Crimson Tide are throwing the kitchen sink at Jefferson, as he was placed at Nick Saban's right hand for Saturday night dinner.

What did Saban say to Jefferson to entice him to come to Tuscaloosa? When will he decide where he wants to go to school?
