The Alabama Crimson Tide basketball program went to Lexington and were blown out by the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday. It's the third big SEC loss on the road as the Crimson Tide lost its grip on first place in the conference standings.

How concerning is Saturday's defeat? What did the Saturday performance have in common with the two other conference losses of the year?

We break down the deficiencies and decide what it means for Alabama's postseason story on the Monday edition of "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral".

Were the 117 points the Wildcats scored more about the Kentucky talent just having a good day, or did it have more to do with a poor Crimson Tide effort defensively?

Would the game have turned out differently if the Crimson Tide had guard Latrell Wrightsell available to play?

Alabama has the No. 1 offense in the nation but all eight of its losses this year have come against top-25 KenPom offenses, putting heavy pressure on the Crimson Tide offense to put up big numbers when facing quality competition.

The Crimson Tide is currently still projected to earn a No. 3 seed in the NCAA tournament. Given what we know so far, and Alabama's defensive deficiencies, how far can this year's team go?

While the Alabama basketball program is experiencing some of the organization's best success, this is the second season in the last three years that Nate Oats has questioned his team's ability to compete on the defensive end. Can Oats hit the right buttons with just four games left in the year?
