  • Alabama gymnastics freshman Jamison Sears was named SEC Co-Specialist of the Week. 
  • The Indianapolis Colts signed Raekwon Davis to a two-year contract worth $14 million. 
  • Keon Ellis scored seven points, had four rebounds, three steals and two assists in the Sacremento Kings 129-94 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
  • Collin Sexton scored 20 points with seven rebounds, five assists and one block for the Utah Jazz in a 123-107 loss to the Boston Celtics.  JD Davison got into the game's final minute for the Celtics while Kira Lewis didn't play for the Jazz. 

On This Day in Crimson Tide History:

March 13, 1958: A special 15-minute radio program titled Bear's Facts was set to begin airing on Thursdays when spring training began. The show featuring Paul W. “Bear” Bryant would be carried by 20 stations in the state and one in Georgia. Local listeners could hear it at 6:30 p.m. or 10:30 p.m. each Thursday.

March 13, 1990: Marcell Dareus was born in Birmingham.

March 13, 1991: D.J. Fluker was born in New Orleans.
