  • Men's basketball defeated South Alabama, 102-46, to move to 3-0 on the season. All three games have featured the Crimson Tide offense scoring in excess of 100 points.

  • Former Alabama basketball player Collin Sexton had one of the nicer assists on a three-point basket that one might ever see.
  • Herb Jones, Sexton's former college teammate who's now with the New Orleans Pelicans, helped guide his squad to victory in the new NBA In-Season Tournament. Jones had 13 first-half points.
  • Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson is finally set for his return from suspension. The team is riding high, having defeated the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills in back-to-back contests without the veteran.

On This Day in Crimson Tide History:

November 15, 1898: Frank Thomas is born in Muncie, Indiana. During his career as Alabama’s head coach, Coach Tommy registered a 115-24-7 record, leading the Crimson Tide to three Rose Bowls and two national titles. – Bryant Museum

November 15, 1989: Carson Tinker was born in Decatur, Ala.
