The Alabama Crimson Tide came away from National Signing Day this year with the second ranked recruiting class in the nation, and the 17th straight top-five class.

In new head coach Kalen Deboer's first taste of recruiting in the SEC, he managed to retain many of the exciting players that had previously committed to the Tide, as well as bring in a talented player that he and his former Washington staff had targeted.

Alabama ended its 2024 National Signing Day with three additions to the team: 3-star and in-state prospect Quinton "QB" Reese, 4-star edge rusher out of Arizona Noah Carter and finally, fellow in-state prospect and 5-star wideout Ryan Williams.

Reese, hailing from Ramsay High School in Birmingham, is a linebacker who was one of the state's top performers in 2023 as a senior. He was named the class 5A lineman of the year, and finished his three years as a starter with over 300 tackles.

Carter, who is rated as the third overall player in the state of Arizona, is an extremely fast, lengthy pass rusher who is likely to bring a unique wrinkle to new defensive coordinator Kane Wommack's system. He showed elite ability to dip around blockers in high school and beat one-on-one situations, but will need to pack on some size if he hopes to withstand the rigors of an SEC schedule.

Finally, the Tide officially signed Williams after he re-committed to Alabama in January. The 6-foot, 195 pound target is the third ranked wideout in the nation and the second overall in the state of Alabama.

Williams is easily DeBoer's biggest signing of his first offseason with the Tide, but both Carter and Reese could certainly prove to be difference makers on the other side of the ball.
