Extra Point: Looking at Bama's Best Combine Performances

The Tide has put its fair share of elite talent into the NFL, but which of those stars had the best performances at the combine?

It's no secret that each year the Alabama Crimson Tide sends droves of talent to the NFL. Since 2007, no team has put players into the league like Alabama has, and although coach Saban has retired, the Tide looks as if will continue to roll under Kalen DeBoer.

While there have been hundreds of former Crimson Tide stars to suit up and participate in the NFL combine through the years, only a select few have truly put together absolutely elite performances in Indianapolis. 

Leading off the way is none other than Derrick Henry, who took the field at the 2016 NFL Combine and dominated in nearly every aspect of the event. 

Henry finished top-5 in four different events: the twenty yard shuttle, the bench press, and the broad and vertical jumps. Not to mention, he ran a blazing 4.54 second forty yard dash at 6-foot-3, 247 lbs.

Next, is Julio Jones who, like Henry, completely dominated the combine. Jones finished top-5 in just three events, but did so with a broken foot. 

The Foley native suffered a foot injury ahead of the event, and would actually require surgery following it, but still managed to run an incredible 4.39 second forty yard dash, record a 38.5 inch vertical leap and finish with over an eleven foot broad jump. 

Finally, a player who may not have the same career accolades as his peers, but put together an excellent combine performance nonetheless, Marlon Humphrey. 

Humphrey competed in all but one event, and managed to finish among the top end of his position group in all of them. The former 5-star from Hoover ran a 4.41 second forty yard dash, a 4.28 second twenty yard shuttle and recorded a 10.5 foot broad jump.
