Live Updates: No. 25 Alabama Baseball vs. No. 22 Kentucky (Game 3)

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.— The first two games haven't gone in Alabama's favor, but the Crimson Tide has one more chance to get a win in the weekend series against the Kentucky Wildcats.
The opening game went all the way to extra innings and required a ninth-inning rally from Alabama to tie the game, but a costly wild pitch in the 12th inning helped Kentucky get the win.
On Saturday, The Wildcats scored at least one run in four consecutive innings to take a 7-3 lead late in the game. The bats weren't quiet for Alabama; the Crimson Tided out-hit Kentucky 12-9. But those hits weren't converted to runs as Brad Bohannon's squad left 12 runners on base in a 9-5 loss.
Bohannon wasn't happy with Saturday's performance, saying it was a "really poor effort by our club today. We just didn't play well in every area. Kentucky's a good team; we walked them and hit them nine times."
He said the team has to play better if it wants a different result this morning, and it'll have to happen without Caden Rose, who is day-to-day with an injury.
Grayson Hitt will get the start for Alabama. He is 3-1 in five starts with a 4.37 ERA. He had a solid outing in his last start against Florida, going 5 2/3 innings, striking out five batters and giving up only two runs.
His last home start was a different story, however. Hit gave up five runs on six hits in only 3 1/3 innings.
