Even though Alabama kept it competitive against South Carolina, they will need to find their confidence again when they take on Missouri in Colombia on Sunday.

The Tigers come into the game at 15-4 and 4-6 in the SEC following a near 20 point win over Vanderbilt on Thursday. They are sitting at eighth in the conference and just a few games back of Alabama for the fifth seed.

For Alabama, they come into the game at 16-6 and 5-4 in the SEC. The team has not played a game in a week since their game against South Carolina last Sunday.

The Crimson Tide lost to Missouri in their first meeting this season, with the Tigers winning by one after a heartbreaking miss on the final shot. Brittany Davis scored 26 points in that game, with only two other players hitting the double-digit point mark.

Missouri's depth was a key for them in Tuscaloosa, with 38 of their points coming from the bench compared to just nine for Alabama. The Tide have since gone 4-2 in the six games after that game, and there has been some improvement from their depth in those six games.

While the points are not always there, a lot of the hustle and the heart that comes from the bench. Players like Karly Weathers, Loyal McQueen, and Ryan Cobbins have come into a lot of game and helped Alabama in rebounding and defense.

With the Crimson Tide looking to get an edge in the SEC standings over the Tigers, this game in Colombia is big for both teams, which should lead to some great basketball.
