It was a happy Friday on "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral" as we were joined by a local prospect that's stacked up recent college football scholarship offers.
Rising senior William Sanders from Brookwood High School joined the show to introduce himself and let the college football world know where he stands in his recruitment.
Sanders's high school career has featured growth and development, both personally and as a program. The Panthers won just a single game when Sanders was a freshman, but won three games in his sophomore season and four games in his junior year.
"Of course I want to make it to the playoffs, of course I want to make it as far as we can, but if I can just contribute, once again just getting better, then that's all I can ask for," said Sanders. "As long as I can keep laying that foundation for the ones who are coming up behind me, that's all I truly ask for. That's all I really want."
The 6-foot-3, 290 pound lineman detailed his visits at each Alabama, LSU and Mississippi State and when he plans to make his decision.
Sanders also discussed being considered a 3-star prospect and what keeps him motivated to work hard at his craft.
