Alabama Basketball's One-And-Done's Invited To NBA Draft Green Room

The NBA Draft is Thursday, June 22 and the Alabama Crimson Tide is expected to enjoy an exciting night. 

The Crimson Tide expect to see freshman forward Brandon Miller selected within the draft's top three picks, and teammate, fellow freshman forward, Noah Clowney is also expected to be selected in the first round. 

The NBA has invited both Miller and Clowney to New York for the draft on Thursday, the pair are among 21 current prospects to receive an invitation for the NBA Draft's Green Room, a favorable sign that they will be first round selections. 

Miller as a freshman averaged 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game over 37 contests for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He earned a slew of awards and honors for his year in Tuscaloosa, including SEC Player of the Year.

Clowney as a freshman averaged 9.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1 block per game over 36 games of action with the Tide. He earned SEC All-Freshman team for his strong season.

Alabama head basketball coach Nate Oats is looking for his third and fourth first-round selections with Miller and Clowney. They pair will seek to join Kira Lewis in 2020 and Joshua Primo in 2021 as first round selection in the Oats-era.

The NBA Draft will be held Thursday, June 22 and will be televised at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN.
