The parade to the transfer portal has been on in Tuscaloosa on Wednesday as a bevy of players are making decisions on their playing futures.

According to numerous reports the Crimson Tide is set to lose senior safety Kristian Story to the transfer portal.

Story a former 4-star athlete out of Lanett, Ala., was considered the No. 5 overall athlete and the No. 7 prospect in the state of Alabama in the class of 2020.

He left the Lanett Panthers as a state champion quarterback and the all time leader in AHSAA career touchdowns with 175, but once he arrived to Tuscaloosa the 6-foot-1, 210-pound athlete flipped to the defensive side of the ball.

Story appeared in 38 games for the Crimson Tide across three seasons, but never made a start. He primarily contributed on special teams but was a quality rotational defensive back as well.

He officially is credited with 22 tackles, three pass breakups and one interception during his time in Tuscaloosa.

Story will have one more season of eligibility remaining as he is part of the final class that received an extra season due to COVID-19.

He joins numerous players that have entered the transfer portal on Wednesday as the Crimson Tide players have just five days to decide if they want to stay in Tuscaloosa or try their hand at another college football program.

An interesting connection to note is Story's younger brother, Caden, just finished his redshirt freshman year at Clemson. Could he play his final football season with his brother for Dabo Swinney?

This story will be updated.
