It's going to be a great slate of Week 8 games across college football. Every Friday on "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral" the BamaCentral staff gathers to break down the weekend's games and make picks.

This week's schedule features four SEC matchups with a ninth SEC school stepping out of conference for a game. We also check out and make our picks for the three biggest games outside the conference with national relevance.

The segment opens with a matchup between two schools searching for their first conference win of the year. Will it be Zach Arnett or Sam Pittman that lead his side to victory?

Shane Beamer and his broken foot heads to Columbia to take on the Missouri Tigers as the Gamecocks look to get on track.

Lane Kiffin and Hugh Freeze both have interesting ties to the other school this week as the Rebels head to Jordan-Hare Stadium and LSU is using camouflage paint in the end zones to make Army feel right at home.

There's a Big 10 battle of unbeaten schools between Penn State and Ohio State. Will Duke spoil Florida State's bid for the College Football Playoffs and can Southern Cal finally get the Utah monkey off its back?
