Everything Michigan, Jim Harbaugh Said After Overtime Rose Bowl Win

Michigan will face either No. 2 Washington or No. 3 Texas in the CFP National Championship Game on Jan. 8 at NRG Stadium in Houston.

Back at The Rose Bowl for the first time since 2007, the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines defeated No. 4 Alabama 27-20 in overtime at the Rose Bowl to advance to the College Football on Monday evening.

Here's everything the Wolverines had to say both during the awards ceremony and in the postgame press conference:

Q. Coach, you're down here hugging players, and the first thing I hear you say to guys, "I love you." How do you describe the bond on this team that just got that win?

JIM HARBAUGH: It's a togetherness. We're so together, so connected. We were going to overcome anything that was inside this stadium. Talk to this man right here. He made it happen.

Q. Blake, your heart is bigger than the Rose Bowl. In overtime you get the ball twice. How did you get this win?

BLAKE CORUM: It was a team effort, team effort. We're going to deal with adversity here. We had some adversity today, a little sloppy, but we came together as one. I'm my brothers' keeper, and I know my brothers had my back, and I told them, if we score this thing and go to overtime, we're going to win, and we came out on top, and I'll see you in Houston?

Q. What was the huddle like on that play that Roman Wilson came up with the big play?

BLAKE CORUM: Roman previously had a mistake, and he said, I promise, I'm going to make a play. That's what Roman did. We all had faith in him. We all believed in him. He was just playing hard, and things happen.

I love my guys. I love my guys. I don't really know what to say right now. I'm just blessed. I want to thank God for just allowing me to be here. This time last year I wasn't here, so I just want to thank God, full circle, full 365, and I'm blessed.
