The Thursday edition of "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral" welcomes former Crimson Tide fullback and two-time NFL Pro Bowler, Le'Ron McClain into the show to talk about the Alabama season, his time playing football and what he's doing to find fulfillment now.

McClain played for the Crimson Tide from 2003 to 2006 for then head coach Mike Shula. The fullback didn't play under Nick Saban but he tells the audience how welcoming the seven-time national champion is to everyone who wore the Crimson and White.

The program discusses the last few weeks of Alabama football as the Tide is sitting in the drivers seat to win the SEC West once again.

McClain tells the audience about his journey in football from his time in Indiana to finding his home in West Alabama. He tells us about the pressure one feels being from the Tuscaloosa-area and playing for the Tide and he reveals how he was first introduced to Alabama football.

After a successful career with the Tide McClain was drafted in the fourth round by the Baltimore Ravens. We hear about his draft experience and then how the Central Falcons tight end's coach made the transition into a post-football playing career.

McClain gives everyone a picture of his struggles after leaving football and how he's using those hurdles to help other people clear them in their own life.

The program concludes with the former Alabama athlete giving encouragement to the listeners and to the Crimson Tide program.
