Terrion Arnold Delivers Heartfelt Message to Mom from NFL Combine

Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Terrion Arnold thanks his mother for everything she's done to help him get to this point.

After a successful day of on-field drills at the 2024 NFL Combine, Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Terrion Arnold spoke on the sidelines with NFL Network's Stacey Dales about his performance.

At the end of the interview, Arnold, who is considered one of, if not the highest-rated defensive back in the 2024 NFL Draft class, thanked his mother, Tamala, for everything she's done for him to get to this stage which he referred to as "the one percent of the one percent."

"Mom if you're watching this right now, your son just wants to say how proud he is of you," Arnold said. "You had me at a young and you overcame a lot of adversity. People were doubting you and counting you out, and honestly mom like I tell you, you raised a star.

"I just want to say, Tamala Arnold, I love you. I'm right here, the whole world is watching and I'm blessed to have you as a mom. Like I said, you overcame a lot and with that being said, I'm going to continue to keep shining just like you raised me to be."

"I'll never forget where I came from. Tallahassee, Florida is a hard place to come out of and everybody watching this from back at home, I hope you're proud of me because I gave it my all."

Arnold concluded the interview stating that Friday wasn't his best performance and the NFL world will get more of an insight of him on March 20.

"Y'all tune into pro day because it's going to be a show," Arnold said. "Like I said, right here at the combine, I had to come out here and compete. But this was just the warmup, I was just getting my feet wet."

Arnold ran a 4.50-second 40-yard dash, vertically jumped 37 inches and broad jumped 10-feet and nine inches. He certainly stood out in the other on-field drills that don't have stats attached to them. Arnold closed the cornerbacks' time slot of the NFL Combine with a stellar gauntlet that ended with a flip...sort of.
