In this story:

It was another crazy weekend of college football with three teams inside the top 10 losing and four teams overall that were ranked ahead of Alabama. How much did that affect the Crimson Tide in the polls.

Alabama used a strong fourth quarter to come away with a 31-20 victory over Texas A&M at home on Saturday. The Crimson Tide moved up from No. 13 to No. 10 in the Coaches Poll and AP Top 25.

There are currently nine ranked SEC teams. Alabama is the highest-ranked two-loss team. The best win on Alabama's resumé is over No. 9 Kentucky back in Week 2. It is still the Wildcats only loss.

The Crimson Tide now gets to enjoy its lone bye week and watch more chaos unfold across the college football landscape before a major top-15 showdown with LSU on Nov. 7.
