The eyes of the softball world will be on Rhoads Stadium in Tuscaloosa this weekend as No. 5 Alabama hosts No. 1 Texas for a three-game SEC series with first-place in the conference potentially on the line.

Because of Easter on Sunday, this series will begin on Thursday. Game 1 will be streaming only on SEC Network+ while Friday's matchup will be on SEC Network, and the third game will be on ESPN. Beth Mowins and Michele Smith will be on the call for the two broadcast games.

This is the first meeting between the Crimson Tide and Longhorns since Texas joined the SEC. Texas is coming off its first national title in program history in 2025, and the Longhorns have only lost one SEC game so far.

"It's a huge weekend for us, and I think our girls know it," Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy said before Wednesday's practice. "I'm confident that Texas knows it, too."
