Where Alabama Softball Ranks after Week 4

The Crimson Tide is one of the last remaining undefeated teams in college softball as the calendar flips to March and conference play begins.

Alabama softball is one of the last teams standing with an undefeated record after a 6-0 weekend in the Crimson Classic at Rhoads Stadium for the final weekend before SEC play begins.

The Crimson Tide now stands at 20-0 overall and is inside the top five in every major poll except for USA Softball, where Alabama is ranked No. 6. D1Softball has Alabama at No. 5, and the Tide is ranked No. 4 by Softball America and in the NFCA Coaches Poll.

No. 10 Florida State remains the only ranke dopponent Alabama has played and beaten on the season, but that will quickly change once the Tide enters conference play.

The SEC has 11 teams in the USA Softball Top 25, and Alabama's opponent this week, Ole Miss, is receiving votes. The Crimson Tide will open the series with the Rebels on Friday at 6 p.m.
