This announcement comes off the hills of Jayden Daniels (LINK) being named to the Davey O'Brien Award Watch List.
The redshirt senior wide receiver is coming off a season where he finished 10th in the nation and second in the Pac-12 with a 19.87 yards per catch average. He caught 31 passes for 616 yards and eight touchdowns. His achievements on the field in 2019 lead him to an All-Pac-12 honorable mention honor.
The wide receiver looks to follow in the footsteps of N'Keal Harry and Brandon Aiyuk to be the third consecutive ASU receiver taken in the first round of the NFL Draft.
The Biletnikoff Award recognizes each year the college football seasons outstanding FBS receiver. Any player that catches a pass, regardless of position, is eligible for this award.
The semifinalists, finalists and winner are all selected by a committee consisting of college football journalists, announcers, commentators, other Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers.
The winner will be announced on Saturday, March 6th, 2021
