This weekend could have a lot of influence over the next few years for both Auburn football and basketball.

Numerous highly-ranked recruits in both sports across various classes will be in town as the Tigers take on the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs.

One of the most notable basketball recruits in town in Jeremiah Green, a 4-star point guard in the class of 2025. Green is a native of Denton, Texas but he attends Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kan.

According to 247Sports, Green has a 0.9786 composite rating. He is the No. 51 player nationally in the class of 2025, the No. 7 point guard and the No. 1 player in the state of Texas.

Apart from Auburn, Green has received offers from programs such as Alabama, Houston, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, UCLA and USC.

If Green were to decide to bring his talents to the Plains, he would become the No. 11 ranked recruit in the history of the program. Korvotney Barber currently holds that spot with a 0.9776 composite rating according to 247Sports

Barber is the highest-ranked recruit in the program's history who did not play under head coach Bruce Pearl.

This weekend will be a big one in helping Auburn continue the run of success it has enjoyed on the hardwood. Pearl has said that the SEC keeps getting better so landing top-talent will be vital.
