Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze in attendance for the Senior Bowl

The new head coach of the Tigers is down in Mobile for the annual event.

Auburn football head coach Hugh Freeze is down in Mobile to attend the 2023 Senior Bowl, per Executive Director Jim Nagy.

Freeze will be one of ten head coaches in attendance, and one of four SEC coaches.

2023 Senior Bowl head coach attendees:

Hugh Freeze - Auburn

Dabo Swinney - Clemson

Shane Beamer - South Carolina

Trent Dilfer - UAB

Bob Surace - Princeton

Eli Drinkwitz - Missouri

Steve Sarkisian - Texas

Josh Heupel - Tennessee

Rusty Wright - UT-Chattanooga

Tom Allen - Indiana

Auburn players Derick Hall and Eku Leota will be participating in the Senior Bowl, with Derick Hall starting on the American team.

Hugh Freeze seemingly has yet to take a day off for the Tigers, constantly recruiting all over the country and attending events since his hiring back in December.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Alabama the past 73 years.

The 2023 Senior Bowl kicks off this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. CT on NFL Network.
