Oscar Chapman is on the Ray Guy Award watchlist.

Auburn punter Oscar Chapman was named to the Ray Guy Award watchlist, which is given to the best punter in college football. 

Chapman had a good season for the Tigers a year ago and will look to do the same this year. 

Punting is more important than many people give it credit for since winning the field possession game is a big deal. 

If Chapman is pinning the opposing team inside their own ten-yard line often, that can win you football games. 

It would come as no surprise if the senior from Australia was to bring home the Ray Guy Award. 

A good season from Chapman in 2023 can lead to wins for the Auburn Tigers.
