Eight Top Under Armour Nashville Recruits To Know

Top recruits invade Under Armour Nashville

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - Here’s a rundown of recruits from Under Armour Nashville, with top prospects heading to a litany of SEC schools and beyond. Here are ************** recruits that stood out to me.

1) For those that do not know about 2026 Georgia quarterback commitment Jared Curtis, they soon will. He’s as unique a young signal-caller as one will find because his mechanics are advanced for a sophomore in college let alone a current sophomore in high school. Here’s what I wrote about him on X last night:

“‘Nashville Christian School QB Jared Curtis is as impressive a sophomore pro-style passer I remember ever scouting when combining the following three traits: natural size, arm strength, and accuracy. The 2026 #Georgia commitment is an incredible talent.’”

2) Montgomery (Ala.) Carver running back Anthony “Turbo” Rogers is an Alabama commitment but will take three SEC official visits, at the least. Those schools are Georgia, Auburn, and Bama. No specific dates just yet.

Rogers just finished a tremendous performance at the Under Armour Nashville camp. His all-around physical skills, including one recruiting analyst clocking him at under 4.4 in the forty, were nothing short of spectacular.

Rogers’ stop-and-start ability is something one has to see to truly appreciate. He made one defender literally fall down during one-on-ones. He’s as electric as any recruit in America.

3) As noted in yesterday’s defensive line article, Georgia nose guard commitment Stephon Shivers is a rare talent. One cannot teach 6-foot-3 and 367 pounds. Nor can one teach his natural power and explosiveness. See a pass-rush move from Shivers right here.

While Shivers is going to play in UGA’s 3-4 defense as the nose guard, he’s already been told that he’s going to play see time at defensive tackle and possibly defensive end, depending on the scheme during a particular play.

Watching the big man run, he’s one of the rare prospects over 300 pounds who can pull it off. Good luck to the teams playing Humboldt (Tenn.) High School this fall, as someone has to block Shivers.

4) Isaac Sowells is a powerhouse offensive lineman with nimble feet. In particular, his balance when striking a defensive lineman is tremendous. He does not lunge and get out over his feet. He stays square.

Sowells also possesses the natural power to battle the nasty defensive linemen he will likely see at the college level. Official visits are coming up with South Carolina (May 31), Kentucky (June 7), North Carolina State (June 14), and Miami (June 21). Sowells comes from Louisville (Ky.) Male.

5) Tyler Lockhart is a name that does not receive enough attention. Following him around through Under Armour drills, it’s hard not to like his college future. He’s agile in space – allowing him to be a three-down linebacker – and can play downhill as a run defender or blitzer.

Regardless of the play call, Lockhart’s explosiveness and open-field speed provide him with an array of playmaking opportunities. He’s from Winona (Miss.) High School. Mississippi State is a team to watch along with Auburn and other SEC programs.

6) If a college football program is seeking a true big-bodied wide receiver, Corey Simms provides the attributes that usually come along with that frame to maximize its potential.

Coming from St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers, Simms shields off defenders with his powerful frame and long arms. When competing for a contested catch there will be few defensive backs who can physically challenge him.

7) A yoked-up defensive back to know is 2026 prospect Bralon Womack from Flowood (Miss.) Hartfield Academy. Despite being 6-foot and 199 pounds, he’s able to turn his hips and run with shifty receivers.

Also a humble young man, Womack is going to be visiting several schools this spring and summer. Ohio State, Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and others will likely see him go by their respective campuses if plans work out.

8) Finally, another 2026 prospect to watch is offensive tackle Jarvis Strickland from Paducah (Ky.) Tilghman. He’s still developing with technique but Strickland’s tenacity and athleticism aid him during any battle with a pass rusher. He’s also fairly agile for his size.

It will be interesting to see Strickland in another year. One cannot teach 6-foot-6 and 294 pounds, and he’s still growing.
