Bearcats Face Largest Home Spread Of 2022-23 Season In Houston Matchup

Cincinnati has not seen a line this big since traveling to Hawaii.

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are 9.5-point underdogs against Houston on SI Sportsbook Sunday.

The number marks Cincinnati's largest spread of the season and the highest since losing 101-93 as 9.5 point dogs to No. 5 Arizona.

The teams are two of the best in the country against the number. Cincinnati's 11-4 record ranks third nationally, while Houston sits right behind them at 11-5.

Wes Miller's crew has feasted at home, rolling to a 9-1 record against mostly lower-tier competition. The 80-77 loss to No. 18 Xavier is the lone blemish, but it was a cover (+3.5).

Cincinnati cannot afford to get down early as they have against their three ranked opponents thus far (-12.7 1H scoring margin).
