Bracket Builder: Assessing UC's NCAA Tournament Hopes Entering the Homestretch of the 2021-22 Season

Cincinnati is bouncing all over the bubble.

CINCINNATI — There is a little over two months remaining in the 2021-22 college basketball season—the perfect time to check where Cincinnati falls in the latest bracketology.

UC is a firm bubble team as they head into the home stretch. CBS Sports analyst Jerry Palm does not have them in the field and has Houston (four seed) pegged as the AAC's only tournament team.

On ESPN, Joe Lunardi has Cincinnati as his final team in the "Next Four Out," after not having them anywhere in the last update. Houston (three seed) is his only AAC team in the field.

Finally, Brian Bennett of The Athletic slotted Cincinnati in the same spot as Lunardi. The Bearcats are Bennett's last team in the "Next Four Out."

The next two weeks will go a long way in moving them off the bubble one way or another. Cincinnati would benefit from turning this three-game win streak into six straight victories. That would set up a season-defining home bout against Houston on Feb. 6.
