Cincinnati Lands Commitment From Three-Star 2023 Guard Evan Tengesdahl
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats secured another commitment for the 2023 recruiting class on Thursday. Wayne High School (OH) guard Evan Tengesdahl announced his plans to play for Cincinnati.
Tengesdahl had offers from Kent State, Miami (OH), Pittsburgh, Toledo, West Virginia, Western Michigan, and Wisconsin. Rivals ranks the three-star guard as the 18th-best player in Ohio. According to 247Sports, he is 549th overall and the 44th-ranked interior offensive lineman in the country. The site ranked Cincinnati's class 14th nationally before the commitment.
Tengesdahl joins linebacker Trevor Carter, offensive tackle A.J. Salley, and Jason Hewlett as a member of UC's 2023 class.
