Bearcats Land Hawaii Wide Receiver Nick Mardner in Transfer Portal
CINCINNATI — Chalk up another transfer portal candidate buying what Luke Fickell is selling. Hawaii wide receiver Nick Mardner is committing to the Bearcats.
Mardner led Hawaii in receiving yards (913) and touchdowns (five) this past season. He is a great replacement for Alec Pierce as a contested-catch weapon at 6-foot-6, 183 pounds.
Mardner finished 2021 ranked tenth nationally in yards per catch (19.8). He held offers from LSU, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech.
