Cincinnati Opens as 19-Point Betting Favorites Against Detroit Mercy

Cincinnati won the matchup by double digits last season.

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are back in action for their multi-team event this weekend and opened as 19-point favorites over Detroit Mercy on Friday night.

That line's been bet up to 24.5 points on most sportsbooks as bettors expect Cincinnati to throttle the Titans and win by more than the 18-point margin in their 2022 matchup.

Cincinnati is 0-1 against the spread so far this season in large part because of a 20% three-point mark in the 69-58 win over UIC on Monday (15-point favorites).

Friday's point total is set at 146 points.
