Dontay Corleone Named to Nagurski, Outland Trophy Watchlists
CINCINNATI — Dontay Corleone cracked the preseason watchlists for two major awards on Tuesday: The Nagurski and Outland Trophies.
The redshirt sophomore is on the Nagurski list with 94 other names, including players from 11 of the 14 Big 12 schools and 24 defensive tackles on the Outland Trophy list.
Corleone was PFF's highest-graded defender in 2022 and registered the sixth-most run stops of any defensive lineman nationwide. He ended the season with 44 tackles, three sacks, and two forced fumbles.
