Look: Sauce Gardner Gets Into Social Media Beef With Former All-Pro Cornerback Asante Samuel
CINCINNATI — Jets All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner and former All-Pro cornerback Asante Samuel got into a back-and-forth on X Friday night after Samuel indirectly called out Gardner’s All-Pro legitimacy.
Samuel said a player needs to have an interception to be on the first team, which Gardner did have on his ledger in the 2023 season. Gardner just became the first corner since the 1970 merger to make first-team All-Pro in his first two seasons.
Samuel made the All-Pro team in 2007.
