Look: UC Football Names 2023 Captains

Cincinnati kicks off the season this coming weekend.

CINCINNATI — The 2023 UC football has its captains heading into Week 1 of the regular season. Each side of the ball has two names leading the way. On offense, quarterback Emory Jones and center Gavin Gerhardt are captains, while defensive tackles Dontay Corleone and Jowon Briggs are leading the other side.

Cincinnati has been hard at work fine-tuning new systems and talents across the whole team this month. Now, it's time to put that hard work on display at Nippert Stadium.

They get a nice chance to gel early this Saturday against Eastern Kentucky (97.1% favorites on ESPN's Football Power Index).
