Pinging The Portal: UC Offers Arizona State DL Robby Harrison, Abilene Christian LB Chike Nwankwo

The Bearcats have a few positions to address in the transfer portal.

CINCINNATI — UC football offered a couple of defensive transfers this weekend, starting with Arizona State defensive lineman Robby Armstrong.

The redshirt freshman has four years of eligibility left after not appearing in a game last season. According to 247Sports, Harrison ranked 1,414th nationally and 171st among defensive linemen in the 2022 class.

He added nearly 50 pounds in the weight room this past season checking in at 6-foot-4, 331 pounds.

Cincinnati also offered Abilene Christian linebacker Chike Nwankwo.

The graduate transfer has one year of eligibility left after posting 43 tackles (4 TFLs) and 1 pass breakup at the FCS level last season. 

Nwankwo started his career at Rutgers.

The transfer checks in at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds.
