UC Offensive Lineman Jeremy Cooper Declares For 2023 NFL Draft

The mainstay is ready to take his shot at the next level.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati left guard Jeremy Cooper is entering the 2023 NFL Draft.

The offensive lineman has been a mainstay protector on that side over the past two seasons and is giving up his COVID year to test the pro circuit.

"Special shoutout to the class of 2018 and my teammates," Cooper wrote. "Y'all have made these past five years the best I could possibly ask for. I would also like to thank Ms.Keri and the academic staff for helping me accomplish my goals in the classroom as well. with that being said, I would like to announce that I am declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft. Excited and ready to work!"

Cooper started every game at left guard during the College Football Playoff run last season. He helped establish the culture in Clifton over the past five years.

The big fella earned Academic All-District team honors from the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team.

Peek over at the consensus big board and Cooper is not among the top 654 prospects in the upcoming draft. Cincinnati has now had four of their five starting offensive linemen from the end of fall camp exit the program this offseason.
