Watch: Desmond Ridder Works out With Heisman Winner Robert Griffin III

The two got to know each other during the draft process.

CINCINNATI — It never hurts for one quarterback to get tips from a Heisman Trophy-winning passer and that's what Desmond Ridder did with NFL QB and ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III prior to the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Cincinnati Football social team released the first in a series of videos detailing the two star's time together.

Griffin won the 2011 Heisman Trophy at Baylor after throwing for 3,998 yards and 36 touchdowns. The dual-threat sprinkled in 644 rushing yards and nine more scores to lead the Bears to a 9-3 regular-season record.

Ridder just wrapped up one of Cincinnati's best finishes ever in the Heisman voting. He placed eighth overall in the tally and earned five first-place votes.
